Privacy Statement TESTGROUP
TESTGROUP sees it as its responsibility to protect your privacy. This statement explains the privacy policy of TESTGROUP. By using or participating in our services, you accept this privacy policy and give TESTGROUP permission to use your personal data for its services.
- About TESTGROUP TESTGROUP is a publisher of software for online assessments. A description of TESTGROUP can be found on www.testgroup.nl, www.testgroup.be and www.testgroup.com.
- What data do we collect and for what purpose? Depending on the specific service, TESTGROUP stores various data about you:
2.1 Personal Data Name, address, date of birth, education level, gender, email address. Personal data are necessary to create unique users and to use the correct norms. The retention period for this data is two years. Such a period is necessary for creating group reports as well as for reissuing reports to candidates if they have lost their report. Upon request, the data can be anonymized immediately after an assessment. This means the following: name and email address are removed, and only the first four digits of the postal code are kept for the residential address.
2.2 Responses to Questionnaires All responses to questionnaires are stored, along with the time they were answered. This data is used by TESTGROUP to monitor progress in the various questionnaires as well as to calculate the scores at a later time. The responses to questions are permanently stored in the TESTGROUP database to enable further development of the questionnaires.
2.3 Responses to Open Questions (e.g., in 360-degree assessments) All responses to open questions are separately stored in the TESTGROUP database. The retention period for this data is two years. Such a period is necessary for creating group reports as well as for reissuing reports to candidates if they have lost their report. These data are not used for research; therefore, the data will be completely deleted after two years.
2.4 Scores Once the required questionnaires have been completed, the test scores can be calculated by TESTGROUP. These scores are translated into norm scores, where a specific norm group is chosen based on the personal data. The norm groups are selected based on personal data: gender, age, and education. The test scores are permanently stored separately in the TESTGROUP database to enable further refinement of the norms and to conduct scientific research on these test scores. After two years, the test scores are automatically anonymized.
- Servers Your data is stored on TESTGROUP's own servers. As a result, the data is not accessible to third parties.
- Data Retention Period After the completion of the work, TESTGROUP retains your data for two years. After two years, your personal data will be deleted, which means that your test reports can no longer be provided. In addition, after this period, you no longer have the right to access and/or receive your file, as the file no longer exists.
- Security of Your File Your data is stored by TESTGROUP in such a way that no one has access to your file without the permission of TESTGROUP. This way, the confidentiality of your data is preserved.
- Confidentiality TESTGROUP and its employees are always bound to confidentiality of all knowledge derived from the work, provided this information is of a confidential nature. This confidentiality also continues after the work has been completed.
- Disclosure of Data to Third Parties Only if you give permission as the client of your assessment will your personal data be shared with third parties, excluding your employer. You have the right to block the provision of your report to your employer. Blocking is not possible if there is a legal requirement that indicates the report must be provided. In this case, you will be given the opportunity by the client to express any objections to your report.
- Information Sharing for Research and Statistics For the purposes of research and statistics, TESTGROUP may provide data and assessments to third parties. In this case, TESTGROUP ensures that the data is provided in such a way that the person’s identity is excluded. This does not apply if it is not possible for the purpose of the research. In such a situation, the data will only be provided to third parties if you give your consent.
- Security of Personal Data TESTGROUP ensures adequate security procedures to protect your personal data against loss or any form of unlawful processing. TESTGROUP strives to avoid unnecessary collection and further processing of your personal data as much as possible. TESTGROUP periodically has an audit performed by a specialized third-party external party on the functioning of our security policy and procedures. This includes testing the TESTGROUP software for vulnerabilities.
- Cookies For commercial sites, TESTGROUP uses Google Analytics; however, this information is only used to compile reports on website activity regarding the use of the website by visitors. The statistics are kept anonymously. TESTGROUP does not use tracking cookies for online tools and only stores the session ID, browser language, and the IDs of the tests being taken.
- Accessing, Modifying, and Deleting Data It is possible to view, modify, or delete your personal data collected by TESTGROUP. The client of your online assessment will give you access to your data if you request it. In addition, the client of your online assessment will correct the data in your file if you can demonstrate that it is: a) incorrect, b) incomplete, or c) irrelevant to the purpose of the file. If you submit a written request for the destruction of your file, the client is obliged to proceed with its destruction.
